Yarn: Green, yellow, brown worsted weight yarn used for the actual sunflower. For the pot, Bernat velvet yarn in pine was used.
Hook:
a gifted set of wooden crochet hooks were used. I used a size 3.5 mm hook to create the flowers and the leaves.
Notes:
This pattern is a five out of five from me! It is very easy to read, flows nicely from one section to the next, and comes with a printer-friendly PDF version. The most challenging part of this project is making the leaves appear as you want them to. I purchased the pattern on sale, and as of July 6, 2025, it is now only about $2. For the quality, the pattern is a steal even at the full price of $6. The pattern includes many pictures of both finished products and of every step of the process. With thorough explanations of each step. This pattern would be an excellent project for a beginner to advance their skills.

Caron Simply Soft in Soft Pink for nose and whiskers.
The designer of the pattern used Chenille home slim in cream, mustard and bare pink.
Hook:
A 4.75 mm crochet hook from Boyle
Notes:
The pattern is very detailed and well written. The designer included many pictures, videos, and explanations of how to accomplish each step. She also included various recommendations for materials such as yarn and hook sizes. Some scrolling back and forth is required to find the detailed explanation for the step you're on. However, it is still easy to follow the pattern. I believe that the pattern is prices very affordably considering the content of the pattern, which includes step by step instructions, videos, four patterns for different cats (White, Siamese, Calico, and Orange), and lots and lots of pictures. Overall, I really enjoyed making these cute kittens, I can't wait to make them in all the colors. I love them so much, five out of five 😻 from me!!

Notes:
The duck pattern works up really quickly in just under an hour. I crochet somewhere in the middle, I am not the fastest, but I am not the slowest either. Including the details such as embroidering the face, and making the flower hat the total amount of time was approximately an hour and a half. This pattern was super easy to follow and very beginner friendly. The three duck bundle allows for a beginner to advance their skills with color work and design creativity with the hats. It is a five out of five 🦆 experience!
